Living is untying knots, sewing dreams, weaving stories
ART WOMAN 2025 celebrates 31 years since the first edition organized by us in the 90s in Rome and after in Lecce. This annual event celebrates female creativity specifically, a creativity that is increasingly in turmoil and full of new perspectives.
Living is a constant task in which to sew dreams and untie knots, those past and those present, in order to move forward with more freedom. Having a meaningful life in turn implies knowing how to be wise weavers of stories, artisans of good relationships and seekers of better spaces and environments where we can continue to grow in happiness, free from dark clouds and cold winds. Starting with this set of ideas is certainly a good way to better deal with the fluctuations that occur in our ever-complex “here and now.” Those who have the courage to overcome their fears is able to weave the thread of life, then thoughts become threads that run through history, tracing dreams and hopes. What one weaves is the world that one has known and that each one carries inside like a treasure. That which has never been forgotten, and which lives within us, reminding us of who we really are, gives the strength to continue weaving.
As with every edition of ART WOMAN, there will be prizes and awards.
All participants are guaranteed a Certificate of Recognition on parchment paper.
ART CALENDAR 2025 – No. 12 women artists for 12 months each page will host no. 1 works by the artist with title and captions. The calendar will consist of an additional two pages devoted to an introduction by the curator and a list of the names of all the artists in the exhibition. The calendar will be set-up on pdf and sent to artists and social media.
INTERVIEW WITH CURATOR – No 3 artists will be awarded with interview posted in DISCOVER ART JOURNAL See here
ARTSPER FOR 6 MONTHS – No 3 artists will be awarded with the pubblication for works for sale on ARTSPER See here
