Fluxus: Visions in a state of flux are unstable, permeable territories, where identities, images, and narratives flow without settling. The exhibition brings together practices spanning Fluxus, visionary art, contemporary illustration, experimental cinema, and surrealism, generating an ecosystem of works that challenge the solidity of reality. Flow becomes method: gesture, imagination, symbol, and narrative intermingle in a continuous exchange. The works do not represent the world, but transform it, liquefy it, making it permeable to new perceptive possibilities. In this fluid landscape, the viewer is invited to navigate visions, drifts, and metamorphoses.

Fluxus introduces the dimension of the fluid gesture, of action that flows and does not crystallize. Visionary art brings with it the ability to open perceptual gaps, to make visible what vibrates beneath the surface of reality. Contemporary illustration offers an immediate language, capable of traversing worlds and symbols with lightness and precision. Cinema, with its nature of moving images, becomes a metaphor and instrument of continuous transformation. Pop surrealism, finally, introduces a liquid narrative dimension, where the everyday dissolves into the fantastic.

These practices, brought together, generate an ecosystem of fluid images, where reality is not denied but continually renegotiated. The works do not seek a center, but move by drift, association, and metamorphosis. The exhibition invites the viewer to enter a space where the boundaries between inside and outside, dream and matter, gesture and vision, dissolve. In an age where everything flows—identity, media, narratives—art becomes a laboratory for new forms of perception. “Fluxus” offers a journey through imaginaries that cannot be fixed, but continue to mutate, like water that takes the shape of its container without ever losing its own nature.

As per tradition of every visionary show, the exhibition pays homage to surrealist cinema and theatre with the introduction of a Lifetime Achievement AwardMasterpieces (internationally renowned artists/group), Testimonial (image representing the event),  Theatre and music (performers), Cinema (directors)  and the Floating Worlds (composed by the group of participating artists).

A Total Art event that  pays tribute to visionary artists and combines contemporary art with cinema, theatre, poetry, and music. A living story that brings to the stage  dreamers and their  art or “cult objects” in a production that transforms the sacred, Renaissance venue of the Palmieri Foundation into a Cabinet de Curiosités, involving visitors in an immersive experience with the curiosity and wonder typical of a wonder room.An event that opens a window onto the collective imagination, where representation becomes writing, body, and moving image of the present time.

In addition to contemporary artists, the exhibition features work by leading artists from the FLUXUS avant-garde group, such as  Joseph Beuys, Yoko Ono, John Cage, Giuseppe Chiari, George Maciunas, Sam Kautsch, Ben Vautier.
