Giovanni Lamorgese graduated from the Art Institute of Bari and attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome. Here depicts the conceptual paradox between Gian Lorenzo Bernini and Moana Pozzi, with texts by Lidia Reghini di Pontremoli and begins his career on the opera by working at Pieroni, Tirelli and Farani costume shops.
He later works as an assistant for Felice Levini at the Venice Biennale then at the end of the eighties in Rome for the Opening magazine, directed by Alberto Vannetti. At the end of the nineties he deals with the Supper Club of Rome and at the same time collaborates with Museo Nuova Era in Bari. He has exhibited his works (photo and video installations) in several museums and galleries. He works in the field of cinéma d’auteur with Giovanni Albanese and Alessandro Piva. Giovanni also puts his signature in many shows for theatre with costumes and sets, with Giuliano Vasilicò.
Currently, he operates in places as a Concept Designer for Luogo d’ Arte and RI_USO, the Apulian sustainable design brand, transforming materials and the time of history in a contemporary scenery.
