Baroque Blue 2026 Se-Art Residency

“Constellations: the awakening of the star feathers”

Torre dell’Orso from 13 to 27 June 2026

curated by Dores Sacquegna

BAROQUE BLUE SE-ART RESIDENCY is a two-week full immersion art residency in Salento,  a bridge between East and West, North and South, form and content, ethics and aesthetics, past and future. It is a point of reference for international artists who wish to work in a stimulating environment to deepen their artistic practice in dialogue with the territory and Apulian artists. During the residency, artists not only live together, but share a collective vision that embraces art, culture, music, history, research, sustainability, and spiritual development. These principles permeate all aspects of daily life within the unique and engaging model that is Baroque Blue.

The Baroque Blue Se-Art Residency is a 14-day travel and retreat experience in Puglia, Italy: an intimate journey where culture, history, food, creativity, and wellness come together in an unforgettable escape.

CONSTELLATIONS is an experiential project of eco-symbolism and contemporary art dedicated to the symbolic and mythical aspects of the stars. In the metaphor of navigation, “star feathers” are compasses or polar stars that guide navigation across the starry sky. Our fifth takes place in a beautiful beachfront villa in the marina of TORRE DELL’ORSO, a few kilometres from Lecce, a splendid Baroque town. Torre dell ’Orso known as the Caribbean of Salento is a place where time slows down and everything becomes breathless.  A place where the sea is not just a view, but a living presence. Life on this Retreat encourages a natural return to slow living.

Primo Piano offers an authentic and elevated experience in a community of international artists and curators. Every detail is designed to help you unwind, reconnect with yourself, and experience the simple luxury of being fully present. You’ll have opportunities to wander the olive groves, adventure to the local beach, or unwind by the boat. Every space invites reflection, connection, and ease.
