The era of man and his impact on the planet nourish a decidedly immersive experience and invite us to look at what we call “progress” from other perspectives.
“Worldview: Anthropology of eco-vision” is a research project and a contemporary art exhibition that testifies, with an experiential and artistic approach, the interference that human activity has produced on the natural cycles of the planet, proposing a reflection on the impact of our species on the Earth, more relevant than ever in the moment of a global pandemic and which strongly questions the unstable balance between man and nature. Organized by Primo Piano LivinGallery | Projects & Services for Contemporary Art, curated by Dores and Rose Sacquegna, the exhibition will take place from February 26 to March 18 at the venue of Palmieri’s Foundation in Lecce. Under Auspices by Lecce’s Municipality Department of Culture and in partnership with the Ionion Center for Arts and Culture Foundation of Kefalonia (Greece), the event has a common mission that unites the work by artists, curators, researchers, activists to educate through art to sustainable development by reducing the consumption of plastic material, proposing virtuous processes for changing behaviors and lifestyles.
